What People Are Saying:

In Kindergarten reading was hard for my son and his teacher started sharing that phonics were challenging for him as well. 1st grade continued to be the same and he was starting to get behind but I keep hearing from teachers they weren't overly concerned. Early on in 2nd grade I trusted my gut and decided to have my son tested for potential learning disabilities. In September 2021 my son was diagnosed with dyslexia-reading and writing disabilities. Private tutoring was recommended and I honestly didn't know where to start or what to expect. I put a post on Facebook to inquire about tutors and Becca Pratt reached out with interest to help. Little did I know that she was going to be an amazing fit. Becca's wealth of knowledge, education, teaching style and experience to what my son needed was spot on. There was an instant connection with my son and I. She is able to keep things interesting and fun where it keeps my son focused and engaged to learn and grown. My son looks forward to his weekly sessions with her. In a years time I have seen my son improve with phonics, fluency, comprehension, and self confidence. He has also improved his grades tremendously thanks to Becca's help. I would highly recommend Becca Pratt to anyone that is contemplating extra assistance for their child. My son and I wouldn't be where we are today without her and we are forever grateful. Thanks Becca!

We've been working with Becca since Feb 2022, when our daughter was in Kindergarten and struggling to catch on to basic reading skills. She was frustrated and gave up easily. Now in 1st grade, she is excited about reading and her teachers have noted how much progress they've seen! Becca makes the tutoring sessions engaging and fun! Our daughter loves going to Becca's house each week. We are truly grateful for the confidence she has gained!
